Collaborator Christopher Merchant began the design for the Fin lamp and sconce with the simplest possible parameters: the form would fill a rectangular space and use only straight lines to create detail. 

The triangular “space within a space” emerged directly from these parameters, and became the second focal point of the design, but the real magic comes from the contrast between “on” and “off”. When off, we perceive mainly a rectangular monolith and the simple linear graphic of the fins. When illuminated, the pieces become dimensional: the triangular graphic becomes the unmistakable focal point, and each fin reveals an ombré of color and shadow.

How do I charge the lamp?

Plug the lamp in using any USB-C cord.

Can I use the lamp while it's charging?

Yes! The battery lasts up to 80 hours between charges, and you can also use this as you would a regular, plug-in lamp.

Can I change the bulb?

The bulb is rechargeable so it cannot be changed.

How do I adjust the color temperature/brightness?

Press the yellow button to cycle through three dim-to-warm brightness settings.
