Named for its onion-shaped inner layer, the Allium shade showcases Christopher's expertise as a materiality-based designer and Wooj's specific approach to 3D printing technology. When viewed from certain angles, the Allium Sconce reveals its namesake inner form. This is made possible by carefully tuned print settings to make the inner layer more matte and the outer layer transparent.

Christopher and Wooj worked together to create a shape that takes inspiration from the delicate materials he traditionally uses, and leverages 3D printing to create a form that looks like blown glass, while being lightweight, durable, and unlike anything you'd be able to create with natural materials.

Lovely ambient lamp. Very pleasant for a reading corner.
Would be lovelier if it was able to dim, but I’m sure changing out the lightbulb fixes that issue via light app.

Beautiful, functional allium sconce

This little lamp is even more beautiful IRL than online. IT arrived in a box that looked like it had been tossed around by a gorilla, but, luckily the lamps were unharmed. I was a little concerned it wouldn't provide enough light for reading at night, but it works perfectly. I love the simplicity of the scone holder - genius! Will likely buy a few more as part of an update to my attic office.
