The Kinoko Lamp was inspired by the beautiful and functional traits of paper, the pleats an homage to designer Issey Miyake’s work.

3D printed from recycled PLA plastic in an accordion pattern, the Kinoko Lamp's mushroom shape is familiar but with a thoughtful twist, taking design notes from pleated paper shades and achieving their light diffusion quality without the fragility.

How do I charge the lamp?

Plug the lamp in using any USB-C cord.

Can I use the lamp while it's charging?

Yes! The battery lasts up to 80 hours between charges, and you can also use this as you would a regular, plug-in lamp.

Can I change the bulb?

The bulb is rechargeable so it cannot be changed.

How do I adjust the color temperature/brightness?

Press the yellow button to cycle through three dim-to-warm brightness settings.

We design, manufacture, assemble, and ship all of our products on a made-to-order basis from our small studio in Brooklyn, New York.

Heat Damage during transit

While this little lamp is aesthetically pleasing and functional, Wooj should consider better packaging and a way to support the shade part of the lamp so that heat during transit does not warp it. The shade of my kinoko lamp is warped now and more of an oval shape.
