Prototype | The SuperNormal Lamp
After a long stretch of exclusively designing sinuous, wavy forms, Sean collapsed into a deep, exhausted slumber. Wracked with nightmares of wiggly shapes and jellyfish-like figures, the phrase "one-note designer" repeating over and over in his head, he knew something had to change.
Waking from his slumber, he knew what had to be done.
"No more waves," he muttered to himself, unsteadily. "No more wavy," more confidently -- "NO MORE WAVY!" he screamed.
Immediately, he set upon his desk a series of straight lines. 90 degree angles, equilateral triangles, totally straight lines. Very Normal Shapes. From these shapes, a concept emerged.
A lamp so ordinary, so normal, so regular, it could only be described as SUPERNORMAL.
We're releasing a small amount of pre-production prototypes ahead of our launch of these later this year. There may be a few changes we'll make between now and the release, but these look like what is pictured in the photos (in fact, we'll be sending out the ones we used to photograph these).
